MACRO Consulting Group’s Mark Cortazzo and Nick Spagnoletti Jr. Named 2021 Leaders in Finance by NJBIZ

Mark-Nick-NJBIZ Leaders in Finance FINAL

MACRO Consulting Group is pleased to announce the selection of Mark Cortazzo, CFP®, CIMA®, and Nick Spagnoletti Jr., CFP®, as honorees for NJBIZ’s inaugural 2021 Leaders in Finance awards program.

Replacing the former CFO of the Year program, the Leaders in Finance awards were established as a celebration of New Jersey’s top financial executives for their contributions not only to the success of their companies, but also to the betterment of their communities. In all, 40 honorees were selected for the 2021 inaugural class, with 10 individuals named into each of four categories: Banking, Corporate, Investment and Professional. Especially noteworthy, Mark and Nick were selected as two of the 10 in the Investment category.

Mark, a senior partner at MACRO, has an extensive background in the financial services industry and is well-respected for his financial insights and expertise. Since founding MACRO in 1992, he has been profiled in many industry publications and has earned numerous awards and accolades, including being named one of America’s Top Wealth Advisors by Forbes and a Top Advisor by Barron’s.

Nick, in his role as a partner at MACRO, is lauded for his expertise in the areas of pre-retirement planning and risk aware wealth management strategies. He has been quoted several times in Kiplinger, InvestmentNews, and in the financial pages of New Jersey’s Daily Record and Star-Ledger newspapers; and he has earned Five Star Wealth Manager recognition as seen in New Jersey Monthly magazine for the last 10 consecutive years.

Both partners have also been recognized by NJBIZ before, as they were previously named Top 40 Under 40 business professionals by the publication.

To select this year’s honorees, an independent panel of judges reviewed hundreds of nominations and applications and made their selections based on each candidate’s industry and community involvement, as well as their level of achievement and innovation.

The 2021 class will be recognized during a virtual awards presentation on Thursday, March 25, and will be featured in the NJBIZ Leaders in Finance supplement that will be inserted into the March 29 issue of the magazine.
